Hi. I`m pregnant and I still work. I`m under a great pressure on work and I worry about my baby. I know that stress has some effect on the child in pregnancy. Should I stop working? Can stress cause some complications?

Hi. Of course stress can cause some complications. If you are under an excessive stress, or emotional trauma, your baby may be born with some deficiencies, which may cause further complications. Many women are under a great stress during pregnancy. Then, the babies inside the womb are exposed to stress hormones, toxins and malnutrition. Many of them will become hyper, or under-active, temperamental etc. Maternal stress during pregnancy can cause an asymmetry in coordination of ears, fingers or feet. IQ of a child can be lower.
