I'm in week 19 pregnant and my belly seems to have expanded overnight. I'm concerned about stretch marks. It became big issue since itching started. Will moisturizer do the trick? Please, I need some advice here.
Stretch marks are the result of both, genetics and speed of expansion. However, some women can grow relatively rapidly and remain mark-less, but others can grow slowly, and still get bad marks. There is no rule in pregnancy! There is no clinical proof that one moisturizer is any better than another. My sister swears by cocoa butter and she doesn't have any stretch marks. She is only a week away from delivery. Anyway talk with your doctor about your stretch mark issue, he will recommend you something.
