Hi, I am 54 years old man, and I never had any problems with my heart or blood pressure. Lat time I went to doctor was 10 years ago, and I don’t know if something changed since then. I started having problems at night when I wake up with sudden chest tightness. Do you know what could this be?
Hello, I don’t understand why did you wait for ten years to visit a doctor. A sudden chest pain could indicate serious conditions, and you have to be examined. In many cases sudden chest pain indicate heart attack. Don’t wait for another seizure, visit a doctor! Maybe you have angina or disturbed blood pressure. All those conditions have to be treated immediately. It doesn’t have to mean that you have any of these conditions, but you never know. Sudden chest pain also indicates panic attacks, but I don’t think that is the cause in your case, because it happens to you at night.
