Suffering from ADHD and anxiety

My sister is 32 years old and she had serous problems with her behavior lately. After she visited her doctor last week he told her that she is suffering from ADHD and anxiety. I was very upset because of this as I thought it is just problem which would pass and wouldn't need professional treatment. If someone has similar experiences I would be interested to know.

Hi, my friend is suffering from ADHD for more than 2 years. In deed he get such diagnose 2 years ago and his behavior problems last much longer. ADHD is mental disorder in which person who suffers from it shows poor concentration, may be easily distracted by sounds and is hyperactive. Also because of these symptoms these persons are sleepy over the day and shows little interests for things around them. Best way is to consult with doctor who would prescribe medication for such disorder.
