In most cases, the first episode of supraventricular tachycardia begins in childhood; however, a first episode of supraventricular tachycardia can occur at any age. It is an uncommon condition. Symptoms of a supraventricular tachycardia include the following: breathless, dizziness, or 'feeling light headed', feeling your heart beat, increased pulse rate. Sometimes your blood pressure may become low with too fast a heart rate and if you have angina, then an angina pain may be triggered by an episode of a supraventricular tachycardia.
