Thousands of women every year decide to have implants to increase or decrease size or volume, recreate curves lost through breastfeeding, and change the shape of their breasts.
More than often, it happens that women were not given the proper information regarding risks of the surgeries involved. This usually happens with commercial clinics in which women end up being examined and screened by non-medically qualified advisers or salesmen with a surgeon showing up when the woman is already deep asleep under general anesthesia.
This is one of the main reasons why some of the leading plastic surgeons in London have joined together to offer breast implant surgery at a cut price to spare women from potentially dangerous cheap clinics or at least they say so.
They offer so called Mybreast package that includes consultation fee, the surgery, anesthesia and a lifetime follow-up. If things go wrong, the service provides free surgical revision. Every woman is under supervision of one doctor alone from the first consultation all the way through to the post-operative check-ups.
All the surgeons that have joined the Mybreast are accredited members of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. They comply with the General Medical Council’s code of good practice and offer service designed by doctors and not commercial companies. |
