What about sutures after having breast implants? How long should they stay in there? What kinds of sutures are most commonly used in breast implanting procedures? I have developed allergy to sutures when was 8 and had appendix surgery. Please post.
Dissolvable and removable sutures are used. It is nothing strictly as I know. Usually internal sutures are dissolvable and external can be dissolvable or if not, they are removed after 7-10 days. Allergy to sutures is not that rare, I think that allergy tests are done before the procedure is about to be scheduled. Hope that helped.
