Hello,
for about 2 years I had problems retracting the skin that covers my penis. A small white circle formed around the top of the skin and I never really noticed that it is getting bigger until recent. The skin is thick and senseless around the top. Now it did not bother me that much so I did not go to a doctor, but just 2 days ago after masturbation the head of my penis became swallen and when I push it is a bit uncomfortable. I went to see a doctor and he told me that the head seems to be infected and gave me antibiotics telling me that he can't exactly see what the infection is because the skin can't retract fully. He also told me to check with specialist for the problem with skin retraction, but that it is not an urgent problem. Now I am a bit worried because I lived with this for almost 2 years and never had problems that I can't fully retract the skin, but now that the head got swallen it might be because of that. Does anybody know what exactly that is and is it serious. I read things like balanitis and phimosis, but I am not sure that I understand are those serious or not that much. I am young and not sexually active, also a bit shy. Please help me with some more information! |
