| hello, i just ended my last pack of pills and immediatly switched to my new pack witch is a different brand (the day after the sugar pill), but my period is a day 1/2 late or so, yes im sexually active and my boyfriend does use a condom and withdraws (with condom on), we try to be as safe as we can. so is it possible to have a late period switching brands? |

| Hi! I switched brands last month, My withdrawal bleed came about 18 hours earlier than normal. Its because different dosages and brands of pill last longer in the body, so the longer the hormones stay in your body the longer it will be until the hormone levels fall enough to cause a withdrawal bleed. Also, irregular/missed/breakthrough bleeds are all common when starting a new pill! |
