| Hello, I have had a swollen posterior cervical lymph node on the back right side of my neck for about a month now, maybe longer as this is the only time I noticed it. The node is localized (only on right side) and about 1.5 cm. I am very worried as every website I've come across says its either HIV or Cancer. It did say it could be due to viral infection, but I haven't been sick in about 6 months ( sinus infection, cold) and haven't had symptoms recently. So should I assume it is Cancer or HIV, although I've only had sex with three girls in my life. Although 2 of them were unprotected (quite a few times), they weren't friends w/ benefits, but rather steady girlfriends for about a year each and claimed to be clean. (Seemed to fall in low-risk category as I am certain they didn't have many sexual partners or use drugs) Please help I'm freakin' out! |
