| Tuesday morning when I went to the bathroom it hurt when I tried to wipe my butt. It worsened throughout the day. It has gotten to the point where it hurts to poop, wipe, sit, stand, etc. Then on Thursday the left side of my vagina started to swell. I am married and I haven't had an affair and very highly doubt that my husband has. What could be causing all this pain? |

According to what you say, I have to ask if you have considered a possibility of having hemorrhoids? If it hurt while wiping your butt, then you know it’s obviously something going on with your rectum. Did you notice the blood in your stool or on your toilete paper?
I have to ask if you had the anal sex with your husband? This would help a lot.
If you didn’t, maybe the swelling of your vagina has nothing to do with the pain in your butt, maybe it’s just the coincidence it is happening at the same time. Have you got some abnormal vaginal discharge? If you notice anything strange (except for swelling), you should immediately go see your gynecologist. I am sure the doc would make the right diagnose considering your vagina.
Meanwhile, if you still have pains while going to the toilete, I would suggest to eat the soft food so the stool would be less painful for you. Drink a lot of liquid and eat as many vegetables as you can.

Holy cow, I have the same symptoms you described only I have severe itching as well. There is nothing to see on the skin at all except it is red and burning hot! I have done a three day yeast infection treatment with antifungal cream and Vagisil but no end in suffering in sight. I have a doctor's appointment next Wednesday, but I really wonder how I will make it until then. I use cold yogurt compresses twice a day to relieve the swelling, but I could honestly sleep with an ice pack between my legs; it itches so bad!!!
My anus is red and swollen as well. Is that connected to my vaginal discomfort? My labia and clitoral hood are so swollen that they hang down in my underwear causing even more discomfort.
Please, can anyone shed some light on this strange vaginal behaviour? |

I am 18 n I've never had any problem come close to this. Everything down there hurts. I bought a 3 day treatment for yeast infection n it didn't help. My butt hurts more n more everyday. The medicine for the yeast infection burns. I did it at night n I could never sleep because it hurt so bad. My girfriend did some research n found that it may be hemmorroids.. Should igo to the dr? Will all of this get better if I don't take medicine? What should I do? |
