I know it gets you down... and no wonder she was testing you for anxiety. DUH. hehe. Even if you are low in the normal scale on your blood tests, I believe that some people function at a higher level so whats 'normal' for one person may not be exactly what another person needs. That's what I'm dealing with with determining the levels of my synthroid.

Hang in there girl, some things just take time Mr. Green

Have they done a WBC to see if you have an infection?

yeah I guess i'm just going to have to go with the flow, and see how it goes. the specialist is actually an immunologist i googled him. so I don't know what that implies, but its all fun. Who knows maybe the thyroid will come back as being low and it'l just be that straightforward, well i'd be happier with a miraculous recovery at some point in the next few weeks lol!
failing that at least there will be light at the end of the tunnel. lol! i'm not depressed just frustrated, all this is so unlike me.
maybe its just post viral, stranger things have happened.
Anyways thanks so much for the support,
i'l keep you posted.

Ok...so I have had the same problem now as well. In May, I started to experience a swollen right gland under my jaw...thought it was a cold/bug because my mom just had gotten over something. I didnt have health insurance so I let it slide...now as of July, I still dont have health insurance and it is still here! I went to see my doctor dispite the costs and he gave me meds. I have been on them for 3 days and i feel like it is getting worse. My right side was the side that hurt...now it is my right and left and even under my tongue too. I find it hard to swollow and breathe too. I do have acid reflux and it does bother this...but the doctor told me to take the meds and call him in 10 days if it does not go away. I am 25 and scared out of my mind. I do smoke but I am quitting tomorrow. The lump is hard in my opinion but the doc said it is ok. Any suggestions? What should i do?
