Hi tainted_reality_13!

Although you have described your symptoms very well, I can’t figure out what it could be. All the possible infections, inflammations and disease that occur down there have similar symptoms and something is definitely going on down there with you.
I will mention only some of the possible conditions so that you can have an insight of the variety of things this may be. Pain, itching, burning and irritation of the vulval area can be caused by an infection like thrush or bacterial vaginosis, or can be the result of a non-infectious skin problem such as dermatitis, eczema or lichen sclerosis but also of many sexually transmitted diseases.

I wouldn’t wait another minute and would definitely have that checked at the gynecologist office. You will be properly examined there and you will know with certainty what it is. Don’t wait too long, because it could be some of the infections that can spread to other organs and cause even more trouble than you are experiencing now.

I am very sorry I didn’t help you by saying what this exactly is, but maybe it is for the best. Some women have to deal with vulval problems for many months or years because of misdiagnosis and incorrect treatments. I honestly hope you will listen to my advice and see a doctor as soon as possible! You could also let us know what it was when you figure this out, so that other girls may recognize the severity of symptoms and rush to the clinics and not wait too long. Thank you

Good luck!

Simone

I used protection with my mate, but I still don't know what is wrong with me. Is it normal or not. I'm 19teen, so can you please HELP ME! :? :? javascript:emoticon(':?')

Did you use a condom all the time during your sexual intercourse?
There are women who are actually allergic to their partner’s seminal fluid. If sex occurred with no protection, these women may experience vaginal burning or swelling, itching and some other allergy symptoms like chest tightness, vomiting, or diarrhea. A woman is more prone to this allergy if she suffers from other allergies. The allergy is called human seminal plasma hypersensitivity. However, if you have used protection and still experienced these symptoms, this may not be your case.

Do you know what kind of condoms you used?

You may have experienced a condom allergy…a spermicide or a lubricant allergy.

Also, a change in vagina’s environment can cause fungus ( that already lives in there) to multiply and cause symptoms similar to yours. This is treated with antifungal creams.
In the end, I would advise you to get tested as your symptoms also indicate an STD.

If you feel discomfort during urination, it can be urinary tract inflammation.

Have yourself examined!

For the past few days to a week, I have been experiencing itching on my labia. I've been doing my best not to scratch it and irritate it. I have also been experiencing a difference in discharge. The discharge has been more liquidy rather than thick. It has also been more yellow and has been a different odor; not an unpleasant one, but different. I also noticed when I sneezed the other day that there was slight discomfort in my groin/abdoment area. It wasn't the area where my bladder is, it was lower.

Here's where the story gets a little embarassing. Late last night I started experiencing severe itching. It felt horrible so I just had to scratch. I was just scratching through my underwear though. It kept happening so I guess I scratched too hard, because I started to bleed. I went and looked in the mirror and saw where I had scratched and there was what looked like a small cut, and it was bleeding. I patted the blood with tissue paper, and then I noticed both my labia started to swell. It was very uncomfortable to walk, and I was very scared so I just took 2 aspirin and went to bed.

When I woke up this morning, as soon as I moved the itching came back. It was horrible but I didn't scratch it and it and it soon went away. I looked
in the mirror and saw that the swelling had gone down, but it was still there. However, the groin/abdominal pain is still there, and I think it has gotten worse. When I clench my ab muscles I can feel it. So my question is, with all my given symptoms, what do you think is causing the discgarge, swelling, and pain, and do you think it is something serious? Thank you for taking the time to read this.
