Hi. My sis have some problems and I think that is got something 2 do with her kidneys. She says she feels a sharp, stabbing pain in her lower back and yesterday she told me that there was some blood in her urine. I think she has a kidney problem, but not sure. Does anybody know anything about the symptoms of a kidney problem?

Hi. I had a kidney stone (in my left kidney) and when you feel that pain in your back it`s a positive symptom of a kidney problem. Especially when you have a blood in your urine, that means that your condition is worsening. Anyway, some symptoms of a kidney problem are swelling in the feet and around the eyes, high blood pressure, burning pain when urinating, more frequent urination, and, of course, pain in the lower back or abdomen and blood in the urine. There are many ways to prevent kidney problems, like a regular healthy diet and drink plenty of fluid.
