| me and my boyfreind recently had sex it was our fisrt time both of us were virgins but a couple days after i got a bladder infection and also some swelling in my vagina is this normal...? one of my freinds said it might be a reaction to the condom... is this a possiblity? |

Hi! I don’t know if this is normal but it happened to me too. I mean, it wasn’t after my first intercourse but the doc told me it is possible to get an urinary infection after too much or first time sex. Bacteria is spread during sex. And yes, it is possible for condoms, especially if they contain nonoxynol 9, to kill the friendly bacteria that lives inside the vagina and then let harmful bacteria in, which causes bladder or urethral infections.
Have you been given any antibiotics? There are things you can do to prevent this from happening, you know. |
