| Hello, I suffer from depression for two years now, I even attempted a suicide. I have been using Lexapro for some time (by psychiatrist recommendation). I have to admit that medication helped me a lot and I am not depressive as before but I am afraid to stop with the therapy. What are withdrawal symptoms? |

| In order to avid unwanted effects from ending the therapy, I think that it has to be done gradually. And of course, you should discuss that with your therapist first. Perhaps you will have to take it for some time more, just in case. So, whatever you decided to do, do it with doctor’s approval. You just might end up hurting your health otherwise. |
