| I suspect my daughter’s using drugs but I am afraid to ask her openly for fear that she might deny it or withdraw from me. Nevertheless, I intend to clear this up and fight whatever there is to be fought. My knowledge of drugs, its symptoms, consequences is scarce. Symptoms of opiate withdrawal? |

| Unfortunately, drugs are proliferous so the symptoms and ways to fight it are numerous and more or less specific. Symptoms of withdrawal begin within 6-12 hours after reducing or stopping use of opiates. The most common symptoms include: sweating, muscle pain, aches and cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, goose bumps or “cold turkey”, enlarged pupils, and decreased sleeping. These symptoms last from 3 days to two weeks. |
