Hi, I was proposed to start therapy with Synvisc, as a new way to deal with knee rheumatic disorders. Some my friends consider it to be great. How does it work?

Hi, it is strange for me not to get a pill, when you go to doctor. And Synvisc is not a pill. It's therapy that can provide you up to 6 months of pain relief from osteoarthritis of the knee, what affects mobility. In knees with osteoarthritis there is not enough joint fluid, so elasticity and viscosity (ability to lubricate) of knee is lost. Without enough synovial fluid, the cartilage in knee joint wears down over time, what causes pain and stiffness in the knee. Synvisc is injected directly into your knee joint to help restore lubrication of normal, healthy synovial fluid.
