MY BROTHER TWO WEEKS AGO HAD GALL BLADDER SURGERY AND ON MONDAY ONE OF THE INCISIONS CAME UNDONE. THE DR HAS PACKED IT WITH GUAZE AND MY BROTHER IS TO CHANGE IT DAILY. MY CONCERN IS THAT MY BROTHER SAYS THE WHOLE INCISION IS SO TENDER. IS THIS NORMAL?

Yes it is. It will take a few weeks for the incision to heal well enough that the tenderness subsides.
