Hi, I had course of TNF injections, but you shouldn’t be afraid of any major side-effects as TNF is normally released by white blood cells, endothelium and other tissues, if there is present damage caused by an infection. It provides further immune response, and consequently provides production of interleukin 1. It provides secreation of cortisone in the body, and cortisone has anti-inflammatory propertes. It supreses appetite and induces fever. Liver synthetys proteins of acute phase response, and production of many other immune system cells is increased, in order to fight back inflammation.
