Sad
Doctors tell you to eat a liquid diet during a Diverticulitis episode. All they say once you have completed your antibiotics and your stomach is back to normal is eat a high fiber diet. WHAT EXACTLY DOES THAT MEAN? They don't give you a food plan - just tell you not to eat nuts, seeds, popcorn, corn on cob and broccoli! I thought broccoli was full of fiber and good for you. Why don't they just write a menu type diet such as things to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Does anyone have such a menu or any suggestions for the foods we need to eat. Oh, I do take a fiber supplement. I don't really like a lot of veggies but I know I must eat them so I would at least like a menu to help make them more palatable.
