Taking Avonex weekly for Multiple Sclerosis

I have been recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. My doctor decided that I should try with Avonex. I head a lot of different stories about treatment with Avonex. Can somebody tell me something more about taking Avonex weekly for Multiple Sclerosis? Please, tell me your experience with this medication. Thanks!

I've been on Avonex for going on 2 years now. And I can tell you that it works. I’m satisfied. Many people choose Avonex as their first disease-modifying therapy because they will only need one injection per week. But my doctor told me that Avonex isn’t effective for everyone. Good luck!
