Taking Cataflam to relieve the swelling and stiffness?

I have a question regarding my father's rheumatoid arthritis. Will taking Cataflam to relieve the joint swelling and stiffness be an effective treatment? I am worried about him, he is 76 years old and already suffers from diabetes, and he really did not need this condition too. So, will that drug really help?

Yes, it will. It is used especially in inflammation processes to deal with the symptoms your father has, including swelling, pain and stiffness. The exact mechanism is not known entirely, but what we do know that there might be some serious side effects that should not be neglected. So, if you spot any changes in his health state, so do not hesitate to stop the therapy and take him to his therapist.
