I have been taking birth control since December and I have had longer periods than what I had when I wasn't on birth control. I have been on my period for a month and I have called the doctor to ask what is wrong and I haven't really gotten any straight answers. If you could help that would be great!

you need to get off the birth control... bleeding for TOO long a time is unhealthy and needs to be dealt with. get off the meds because that may be a bad allergic reaction to the birth control...

that actually just happened to me also.
i was bleeding for a month, but that was because i forgot to take two pills and then took them on the same day.
i kept taking the pill and the bleeding turned to spotting and now it's stopped.
if you're worried about it, you should probably go to your health department.
