Posted: 01/04/07 - 21:41 Post subject: Talk with dad about masterbation? |
|
|
Hello, I am a 16 year old male.
I have talked once or twice, very briefly, with my dad about masterbation.
It was a couple of years ago at about age 12-13 when I asked if it was okay. He said he didn't know, and would get back to me. He didn't for quite afew months, so I asked again and he said that yes, it was okay for me to do. I really want to talk about it again with him and maybe learn something from him about it. He doesn't seem like he is against it and he admited he has done it before and still does on ocation. Can any of you boys/men tell me the good and bads about talking with dads? The do's and dont's?
thanks for your help, I appriciate your help! |

i think if your that close to your dad you should talk to him about it.....i mean hes been through everything and wouldnt tell you something that will hurt you
the only negative could be that he knows that you masturbate but if your ok with that then its no problem .........or if he knows when your doing it.....that might be akward |

Mr. JohnnyKings,
I agree with you that it may be akward doing it if he knows, but I think if I talk about it with him, that should clear things up. Thanks for your advice, do you have any ideas how to start a conversation like this? I've heard them referred to as "ice breakers." |
