Hi, I am 18 years old and I have severe headaches. I’ve had this condition for the last couple of months, and I really don’t know what could be causing it. Is it common for teens to have severe headaches?

Hi, I am 19 years old and I have the same problem as you- I suffer from severe headaches. I wish I knew what was the cause of this condition, that way I would know how to treat it. A doctor told me that I shouldn’t drink so much coffee, because it could be a reason for my severe headaches. However, I can’t imagine my day without four cups of coffee. I have so many things to do during the day, I don’t know how could I manage it all without caffeine. The other thing that could be the cause for my severe headaches is vision problem, and I have to visit an ophthalmologist to get some glasses or what ever it takes. There is only one more thing that my doctor suspects on, and it’s my sinuses. If I had sinuses problems, my headaches would be explained and properly treated.
