| I have a friend with a serious addiction problem. He said that he wants to stop with heroin, but his actions do not support that statement. Actually, I think that he truly wants to quit, but simply cannot. For some time, he used Temazepam as a substitute, but soon after returned to heroin. Can you tell me something more about Temazepam capsules and their effect as an illicit drug? |

| Temazepam has been primarily supposed to help people with sleeping problems (it is a benzodiazepine tranquilizer). Tranquilizers are not used so often, or I should say abused as painkillers (such as Demerol and OxyContin). Sometimes, it has been used in situations when heroin is not available, or it is mixed with it, some even combine it with alcohol. These combos could lead to complications, and could end up fatally. Perhaps, you could talk to him and convince him to seek professional help. |
