I have been suffering with Severe Temple pressure on both sides for about eight months. My doctor ran some blood tests and it showed I had an underactive thyroid. Once I was placed on the Thyroid medicine my symptoms dissappeared, as did my type 2 diabetes which was also diagnosed at my initial Doctors appointment. Each time the symptoms returned, my doctor increased my throid medicine and everything went back to normal. I am now on the maximum throid medicine and the cycle is beginning again--blood sugar 8.7 in the morning after fasting, temples feel like a pair of forceps squeezing them all day long, difficulty concentrating and performing work tasks--lots of errors, fatigue. My doctor says my blood tests show my TSH levels are fine---I am desperate as this becomes REALLY DEBILITATING even some dizziness. Also, I have eye twitches with this cycle.

I am not a Dr. so please discuss with a qualified medical practitioner. But, I have had symptoms of underactive thyroid while in fact blood tests show that I am making more thyroid than I need.

I believe that I have candida and saw a DO. She put me on a diet to starve out the candida fungus/yeast growth as well as an antifungal. In less than 2 weeks I saw my hot flashes and night sweats disappear, lost weight every day for that first 2 weeks. I no longer have restless leg syndrome. I do still have a slight pressure in the temples and I have to confess that I cheated on the candida diet right before that.

She had me eliminate ALL sugar, flour, potatoes, rice, corn for the first 30 days. I haven't had my second visit with her yet BUT I FEEL LIKE A MILLION BUCKS. I haven't slept this good in years....haven't been this thin in more than 15 years. I wake up without an alarm and have had more energy than I've had since adulthood (I'm 45).

See a DO and mention every single symptom you have. You'd be amazed what DOs know and how a simple symptom you may not even think is related can tell them what they need to know to treat you.
