Terrets syndrome and use of meth

would Terrets syndrome cause a person to use the illegal drug crystal meth? My granddaughter use it and claims she has terrets. She says that she has a problem with her lip. I have never seen this.

She has been on drugs since she was about fourteen. Her mother just sent her to a drug rehab center out west. This is only for one month.

crystal meth is a very bad addictive drug and has nothing to do with terrets syndrome,so sorry you are in this position with you're granddaughter,she needs help as soon as possible,the drug will take over her life.Terrets is an abnormal function in the brain and the drug crystal meth may make her feel like she has terrets but i dont believe in anyway there is any connection.Hope you're granddaughter gets help soon.Look up facts about crystal meth on internet,you will find it a pretty scary thing.Wish you all the best,and you're granddaughter she will need it to become clean.
