Testical enlarged not sore

For a week or so now I have had a very slight burning. When I say its slight I dont wince at all and more than anything Iwould say it just feels like my urine is warmer than usual when going. This morning it appears ? that my testicals possibly the left seems larger than normal. I recently had my urine tested for clymidia and gonurea and both were negitive. The head of my penis is a little tender but not really painful. I dont know that E coli would have shown up in the std testing or not. I have no leaking or driping of fluid, no testical pain as of 12 hours of first noticing the possible enlargement (I have never paid that much attention) Ifound a few posts here and seemingly it was in my head as Ihave been paranoid about catching an STD and the burning came about only after the paranoia.

I guess my question is considering it will be 4 days before my family doctor is avail if I have no pain or other symptoms other than the slight burning after urination or masterbation and possibly enlarged testical(s) is there reason to go to the emergency room or just wait until I can see family practice?

I don’t think it is anything urgent, you may wait for your doctor’s appointment.
I can’t say what you have been tested previously, maybe they did only Chlamydia and gonorrhea culture or had urinalysis done as well to check for the levels of white blood cells. If the levels of white blood cells are elevated, it would mean some kind of an infection, inflammation under the foreskin of the penis, etc

If you had bacterial infection you would have noticed it, believe me. You would end up with fever, severe burning, dribbling and the alike symptoms.

If the enlargement was only that day, it could be just something transient but if it persisted for a few days, then your doc will asses it, two or three days don’t mean a lot.
The testicular swelling could be caused by cysts, varicocele, or tumors. It is important though to have it checked.
