Hello. I have been having some serious problems with my testicles that I have never had before. I’m a 25 year old man and I use to be very healthy, ‘till this occurred.
While I do some physical work or sometimes even when I walk, I feel strong and sharp pain in my testicles.
When I noticed this I thought it was caused by some hit, maybe during sex or something, I don’t know, but now I’m a bit worried because I feel this pain for over than a month now.
During my self-examination, I didn’t notice anything unusual accept a bump in my left testicle, but it is there for quite some time.
What could be the cause of my testicle pain?

Maybe you’re right-your pain could be caused by minor trauma during sex but I think you would notice this during sex not after a month or.
So, I would probably excuse this possibility.
Other option is maybe a hernia.
You said that you have some bump on your left testicle.
I think you should pay more attention on this. Part of a bowel can get out of abdomen, pass through front abdomen wall weak spots and get in your scrotum.
In some cases, these kinds of hernias cannot be seen like some testicles changes but they can cause pains you described you are having. And we can't forget also testicle cancer as a possible cause of your pain but they rarely cause any pain.
So, probably best thing for you is to contact your GP and let him determine what you should do next.

Just go see a doctor, he will be able to either help you, or send you to someone who can help you

hi. i have been having some aches in my left testical for the past month or i actually think it is longer but im not sure how much. at the moment i am suffering from mild constipation and that makes my stomach ache in the lower region so this could be something to do with it.

also this is quite weird but the aches seem to happen in the evening for some reason. why would this be?

i cant work out weather the ache is actually in my testical or low in my stomach(because of the constipation) it is really hard to tell!

also the pain seems to have started around the time of my constipation but im not quite sure ( i dont have a great memory)

i dont know what to do and i am only 14 years old

quite worried

would be great if you could help!!

thanks

The same thing is happening to me. Except I have only been hurting for about two or three weeks.

I woke up on morning and my right testicle hurt. Just my right one.
Then about a week later I checked for bumps and there was one on my right testicle!

I don't worry much but I am freaking outt!

Could I have genital cancer!?

Or could it be something else, that I will have to deal with my whole life?
I need some answers please. =]

Not sure if we are going to get answers seeing that this topic was posted in 2005.

But I'll add to this.

Just tonight, for the first time I got this shooting pain in my left testicle. It wasn't very consistent at all. If I lay down it goes away, only while standing does this happen and the pain shoots from my left testicle to the left side of my lower back.
I'm currently constipated, I have chronic constipation, yet I've never felt this before. Maybe I have and just don't remember, but it obviously isn't a common thing.

Does anyone know if constipation can cause any pain what so ever in the testicles? I know it can cause pain/pressure as low as right above the penis, but shooting pain in the testicles? Just doesn't add up to me. I know weird things can happen if you get too backed up, but thats all pressure above you intestines never heard of it pushing down...it would make sense with gravity tho.

Let me know people!

I had the same pain in my right testicle. My father thought it might be an infection and had me take Echinacea Goldenseal. The pain was gone after 2 days.
