Title maybe a little vulgar but straight to the point.
I noticed when i had a dump 3 times this morning on the toilet that everytime my left testicle went inside me and my scrotum shrunk with only the right testicle still there.
I have heard about testicles dissapearing with other people but not in this manner.
The Testicle came back every time but went about a minute before i went for a dump,almost like a alarm.
Is it a muscle contracting or something ?
I feel no pain but this has only started happening now and why and is it anything to worry about ?

| No man, it is nothing to worry about. This happens to a lot of men, especially when they erect. Like you said, it is just a muscle contracting. In case you notice any changes, pain, or if it doesn’t come back, then it would be wise to contact a doctor. |

It went after a few days and stopped happening but a few days ago from today it started happening again but this time it had gone up to my groin while i was sleeping.Anyway this time i found it difficult to urinate and im getting a burning sensation in my left testicle now and again for periods of a few hours.Going to have to visit the doctors because i am only dribbling when i urinate and it is hard to have a poo and my tongue is dry every morning even after drinking about 10 litres of water a day.Something is wrong i think,maybe a prostate or something else...,will have to visit the doctors now as i have put it off for about 4 days hopeing it would go away.

| Yeah, it could be prostate or it could be urinary tract infections. Infections of the urinary system (the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra) make symptoms similar to yours like difficulty urinating, dribbling, burning sensations and even nausea or vomiting if there are kidney problems. Anyway, good luck at the doctor’s. Hope everything turns out not so dangerous, and let us know what it is! Regards Mick |

| when ever either one of the testicle is going up and down means it may be a hernia. you have to consult a docter who examines. becoz testicles are designed to be hanging outside a body. the reason is body heat wont affect testicles as these are meant to be in cooled circulated liquid bag. if you have this you have to visit a doctor who can decide what to do on this. do it a.s.a.p. this wont be a problem at all. |

I eventually worked out what was causing this guys but forgot to post back at the time..3 years on nearly but....it was a spicy form of pepperoni..at the time I would go my local store..because I LOVED the taste and buy like 3 packes of 12 slices of this and just sit and eat it straight from the pack,but sometimes 2 packs within say 10 minutes...the reaction down below was caused by this,I decided to stop having this product untill yesterday when I thought I will buy one pack and but it on some bread rolls etc and hopefully that would not be as bad as the time I ate it raw from the pack....wrong...bad stormach pain,needing to do painful dumps and yes the testical going back in again.Never going to eat this spicy pepperoni ever again,IT is very spicy,it is like beaming chilli coulour !
A lesson learned forever,hope other people who ever have this problem see this post ! Spicy food in my case at least pretty sure starting this reaction ! |

That's interesting.
There is a reflex in men where the testicle pulls up against the body.
It can be triggered by any number of things, but to test it, a doctor usually will draw a finger or a tongue depressor up the inside of the thigh. The testicles will ascend.
This is called the cremastory reflex, and it's used to test if the spinal column is functioning, among other things.
This was the first though that came to my mind when you described the "disappearance" of a testicle.
