Testicle pain for three years, what is it?

Im 15 years old and for the past three years i get this really sharp pain in my left testical once every month or so. A large lump bulids on the top of the testicle an it takes upto 5hours to go back to normal size and no longer hurts. When this happens im completley immobilized and can't even move because of the pain. I've been to the doctors an hospital many times an they have never been able to help. Any ideas what it is?

I have never heard of anything similar either. What tests did you have? Have you seen an urologist and had an ultrasound? Has your mom or other members of your family seen the lump when it was there? What's the bumps like? Soft, hard, big, small....?

I agree. You need to see a urologist soon... and if another bout of this pain and lump occurs, immediately go to see him.

You need a professional evaluation. Especially because it causes you so much pain and discomfort.

I could only hazard a guess that it might be recurring epididimitis... something that deserved treatment.
