I have had this problem for some time. Approximately 2 months after I closed a toilet seat (in a public restroom...ew) on my left testicle, I starting getting an intense itching from that area. Over the past few years it has spread to both sacs. I have seen many doctors, had skin scrapings tested and even an ultrasound. All were normal. They have prescribed antifungal and cortisone creams. They don't help. The itching seems to come from the inside to the surface. Any ideas on what this could be? Have done a lot of googling and nothing like this. Thanks.  |

Hey there,
Well, it sounds to me like a kind of fungal or yeast infection. Do you have any visual symptoms like small bumps on your scrotum or some kind of lumps beneath the scrotum skin? Constant itching could be also an ingrown hair symptom, but it sounds more like a fungal or yeast infection.
Did you have any sexual relationship a short before you noticed the itching?
Do you have a steady sexual relationship?
Of course, visiting of public toilets is not recommended, except you have an urgent need ... So this "closing of toilet seat" could be the reason you caught a fungal infection. To determine what sort of fungi you have, you should visit the right doctor (dermatologist) which could determinate exactly what kind of fungi you have.
I just cannot connect your case with any other disorder or disease related to tactical, because it seems that you have no other symptoms except this scrotum itching.

Hi,
I have been having a sexual relationship with my girlfirend for the past 8months.We have hardly used condoms when we have sex.For the past 2 months my testicle started itching and when i go to sleep at night they itch alot and am unable to sleep becaue of that.Please help me and give me some advice. |

I have the very same issue.
I use Honey applied topically to help with the pain and to control the severity. It's a strong antibiotic cream. not too many people are aware. But....the problem doesn't go away. It shows up after ejaculation and then I deal with the irritation and discomfort.
It's as if it in the sweat glands or such.
What to do to cure it... life without biological issues....can we imagine this...
I have a hard time now but we all know it's mostly mind over matter...
So advise my mind what to think  |

| Hi I have the same thing happening to me... i am 14 i have had this since i was 13 i have lumps on my penis it is really itchy. |

Sorry, I ment 0.5%. I used 2% before and for some reason the over the shelf at 0.5% works better??? All gone now....as if it was never there. |

 I have the same problem and have had it for 2-3 years. I had a blood test and found I am allergic to eggs. I take zertec when the itching starts and it almost always stops the itching and I sleep good |
