Basically to start off with, i am a virgin and i am 16 years old.
Ive recently got into a relationship, there hasent been any sex, but every time i spend a long time with her i get a number of hard ons, by the end when she leaves my balls ache for hours, the aching will finally go away, but it's really hard to walk.
Could this be due to me being new to this sort of stuff...?

well when you get a hard on your cum builds up and has no where to go.so after a while they ache because the presure is not released.so maybe you might have to jack off to help the pain.  |

Strothers3 has been a bit crude in his advice to you, but you may be experiencing something that is called "Blue Balls" by the common man.
Some men experience an ache after being sexual aroused for a time without release. Some men have tried to use this to pressure women into having sex with them, as if it is their fault... but in fact, there are several alternatives.
One is as Storthers3 suggests, to relieve yourself through masterbation. However, you can experience this BEFORE your date, as well as after. Some would recommend relieving the pressure before a date, so that you'll not be as tempted, and will feel more relaxed.
Never having experienced this Blue Balls effect myself, I would think that one could wait until after the date if you're that affected.
But the explanation is that after periods of high sexual excitment, your cowpers gland, seminal vessicles and prostate are all busy producing their fluids and getting ready to send those sperms out into the world. After awhile of standing ready, they can begin to ache. Others feel that this effect is enjoyable, and while masterbating, they "edge" or maintain themselves "on the edge" so that their pleasure lasts longer.
But still others do none of this and still have a great time on their date.
