Testicular Pain

I have been experiencing testicular pain since the last two weeks. On checking with my GP, i was told that there was no symptoms of hernia. On my second check up with my GP, he said there is a slight swelling of the left testicle and suspected it to be epidymitis. He gave me novclox to be taken for 2 days. I took one tablet last night and since then there has been some relief in the pain as compared to yesterday. But there has been slight pain in the groin or upper groin. Can some one explain this.

I appreciate an early answer.
