What testing is needed to diagnose lupus? I’ve realized that is very hard to diagnose this condition. They told me that Lupus is characterized by abnormalities in many laboratory test results. I would like to know what those tests are. Thank you
The serial evaluation of an individual’s tests along with the physician’s observations and the patient’s history determine the diagnosis of SLE. Testing For Lupus contain following tests: ANA, ANCA, CBC, Albumin, Anti-Cardiolipin, Anti-Ro/SS-A, Anti-Sm antibodies, Cholesterol , ENA, Iron, Creatinine, CPK, Blood Urea Nitrogen, Complement studies, etc.
