Hello. I am a med student 2nd year, and I would like to know in which a female would use a “male hormon”, testosterone. Does anybody of you know anything on this topic?

Well, med student 2nd year, testosterone is used for many things. As a steroid (bodybuilders use it for better performance), it increases desire, but with too much, produces violent behavior. Someone even say that it helpes menopausal women. Just as men's bodies manufacture small amounts of estrogen, women's bodies produce testosterone through the ovaries and adrenal glandsTestosterone boosts both libido and energy, maintains muscle mass, strengthens bone and ensures the nipples and clitoris are sensitive to sexual pleasure. Good enough.

DR DREW from strictly sex discussed this topic..I am not a doc, but I am a member of the healthcare field =)
It is said that testosterone may cause more harm than good due to side effects, and probably will not have much impact on libido at all. |
