Tetracycline and bruises

I used tetracycline because of urinary infection that had. I was taking them for 7 days. Do tetracyclines cause bruising? Bruises have started appearing on my legs and arms. Can I treat them somehow?

Tetracyclines interact with calcium and decrease its concentration. As calcium is important for coagulation, it may happen that that bruises appear after treatment with tetracyclines. It is usually nothing serious and is reversible. Try with vitamin and mineral supplements to boost your immunity, vitamin c is important for strength of blood vessels walls, and calcium for coagulation.
