Most of them are snake oil. There is some valid research that may indicate a supplement of the amino acid "L-Arginine" may increase capillary flow as well as enhance nitrogen balance; both of which play a role in erections.

A lot of claims about Yohimbe are out there but there's little regulation with supplements so its hard to know the quality and purity of what you are buying so its hit or miss. There is a pharmceutical grade of Yohimbe called Yohimbine used to treat male impotence and to help restore orgasim in males and females so that does seem to lend some credence to the over the counter supplement claims. Just remember, if it really works the government most likely will regulate it so more hands can get their hands in the money pot.
