Question I wamt to know if there are any adverse side affect's of taking (ALEVE)-BRANDNAME for Naproxyn Sodium while on a contiguous dosage of Methotrexate of 2mg twice weekly.I was told by a Pharmacist, that if while taking the Methotrexate if I experienced fever & or pain that I should supplement the Methotrxate with Tylenol..What I want to know is there any ill side effect's of taking Aleve(Naproxyn Sodium) as apposed to Tylenol(Acetomenaphen). Lord know's Me being 74 & diagnosed 2 year's ago with the Rheumetoid Arthritis. I do not want to do anything else to harm Myself. Please forgive Me it just hit Me like a ton of brick's,the reason you don't mix Naproxyn Sodium with Methotrexate is that the Nap-Sod amplifie's or rather increases the Metabolisation & intensity of Methotrexate exponentially. oh My God !, is this true, close or in the ballpark to say.
