I’m in second month of pregnancy. I feel great but I started to worry about many things. For example, I don’t know what I should do if I get some bacterial infection. Could I take antibiotics or what? Can somebody tell me something about The safety of antibiotics use in pregnancy? Thanks!

That’s normal for pregnant woman to worry but try to not think about bad things now. As I know, some antibiotics are safe to take throughout pregnancy and many women use it when it’s necessary. But some of them pose known risks to a developing baby. It’s better to try to avoid all antibiotics during pregnancy, especially in a third trimester.
