What levels of theophylin are recommended in asthma? What values are allowed? I’m interested in limit levels
and the lowest effective values of theophylin. Which drugs are similar to theophyllin? I just need to get the few information. Thanks in advance.

Theophylin belongs to a group of methylxantines, with caffeine and theobromine, but these two substances are not that powerful in opening airways. Theophyllin blood levels between 5 and 15 mg/l are therapeutic and give good results. Up to 15 mg/l, there is a greater risk of side effects. Level less than 5 mg/l may be effective in some persons too.
