I had one as well about the size of a quarter. It was semi-hard, but clearly liquid filled. I just squoze the sucker and I heard it pop and drain. Has been reducing in size ever since. OK now.

Hi, few days ago I felt pain on my butt cheek while I was sitting. When I looked for the source of the pain, I noticed a little lump. It is red and I can feel it under the skin. Did it happen to anyone else?

I also have a lump inside my bum cheeks. I read this thread and got a bit freaked out. I went to see my doctor the following day as the thought of surgery is pretty frightening. I'd rather accept the embarrassment of showing the doc my bum than worrying about something that could be easily fixed. My lump turns out to be a small pile (Piles) which is basically a burst blood vessel. This can be treated by applying some steroid cream to reduce the swelling. Apparently it could burst and release blood but other than that it is nothing serious.

The doc was really good about it, they see this stuff all the time. I'm a 33 year old male in good health so was surprised to hear I had piles! Get it checked out rather than self diagnosing, it may not be as bad as you think.

Good luck.

My anatomy teacher once told us a story about something just like this. It was an ingrown hair he had to have surgically removed.
