Thing's in my throat

I have this problem where i feel like theres something lodged in my throat, and when i cough or hack, this chalky substance comes out in a ball. It smells terrible.. i don't know what it is can anybody tell me what it is? i'm kind of concerned it happnens once or twice a day, and it can range from sizes from the size of a salt grain to the size of a nerds candy.

Tonsil liths / tonsil stones. Research them @ google. You can just push on your tonsil pockets and they come out. They form from food debris and bacteria in your tonsil pockets. Solution= tonsillectomy. I tell you this from personal experience.
