Think I may be having Menopause symtoms??

For the past month I feel like I am hot & cold. Have taken temp. & have no fever, but even my children say, "mom, your clammey & sweaty". Could this be another form of hot flashes? Very...very tired, but seem to have more energy at night when my mind seems to race. After waking up I need naps during the day. Thought at first it was the flu, then thought was the after affects of reduction surgery, but the doctor confirmed that it had nothing to do with the surgery. Could it be just my body changing? No one seems to take me seriously and I know what I am feeling. Sometimes I become chilled when in a store, which is weird since I am in Florida and it is hot!
