go to the dermatologist and have them give you a cortisone injection directly in the cyst. It should then go away within a couple days.

I have the same problem! I have had a large cyst on my cheek for almost 5 months. At it worst, people said it looked like a golf ball. But I went to a dermatologist a month ago and got it injected multiple times, and went on an antibiotic. It went away completely for 3-4 weeks, and now its back and looks the same. I have went back on antibiotics, and have gotten a couple more injections, but it doesnt look like its going anywhere. My dermatologist decided that tomorrow morning he wants to make an incision in the cyst, which will create a noticeable scar. But he said he only did this to one other patient in the past, I really don't know him well yet, and he appears to be going senile and shakes a lot even when just giving injections, so I'm really scared that he is going to ruin my face! Especially since I'm going into a career in performing, and my face is very important. But I feel like I dont have any other options, and I hate looking down when walking down the street or not being able to look even my boyfriend in the eye. I dont know what to do. I don't even know what it is or why I got it, and therefore have no idea what to do. Help?
