I have been a little worried lately, actually I've been VERY worried. I am a 32 year old woman who has been experiencing some strange symptoms. It started about three months ago, I was having problems remembering things, I chalked it up to growing older and didn't pay much attention to it, but it seemed to get worse. Then I noticed that I started to slur my words when talking to people, it doesn't happen all the time, but lately it happens more often and it makes me uneasy when I speak to people. I have to really consentrate on what I'm going to say. And lately I've been sleeping alot, almost too much, I'm tired all the time, and can't seem to find any energy to do anything. I guess why I'm writing this is that yesterday something happened that has me really scared, I was walking in my living room and lost my vision what seemed like a long period of time, when actually it was only about 5 minutes, but it seemed much much longer, it came back slowly and everything was very blurry for about 10 minutes after that.
Does anyone know what this could be, I would appreciate any responses

Haven’t you seen a doctor about this? It sounds serious? Do you have a family history of brain aneurism in the family? It would be wise if you asked questions.
You should make an appointment with a doctor and then get a referral to a specialist.
An aneurism represents a widening of a blood vessel in the brain that occurs due to weakening. Aneurism can develop leading to rupture and causing bleeding into the brain which is lethal. It is not known what causes aneurism but a hereditary link has been confirmed.
Some people experience no symptoms with aneurism while others do. The most common symptoms of an un-ruptured widen blood vessel are: vision problems, thinking problems, speech problems, impaired concentration, fatigue, memory problems, processing problems-most of the symptoms you mentioned.
Rupture of the aneurism can be prevented if found in time. If the widening is too small, then it will be monitored but if it were too big, it would have to be operated.
Although the symptoms of brain aneurism may resemble other illness, I would still suggest you to make an appointment as soon as possible. |
