Thorasic pain and painful breathing

Can anyone help me? A few years ago I fell back onto the edge of a wooden chair and heard my back pop very loud. But I was walking and no pain so I thought I was ok. Now the thorasic area, hurts something awful to breath, or walk or sit anything. It feels like something stabbing me with an icepick in the center of my spine. What could this be?
