it's a fairly new pill??
I'm supposed to start YAZ on Sunday. I haven't been on BC for 10 years. I reacted very badly back then - I can't recall which pill I was on, but I honestly thought I was losing my mind. It was awful.
But, after having my 3rd child three years ago, my periods are horrible. I can barely leave the house the first two days and have to change my **TMI*** tampon (super plus) every two hours!! My periods also usually last more than 7 days.
I've also started having crazy mood swings.
Anyway, after reading all the threads, I'm hesitant to start YAZ.
Thinking back to all the people I know IRL who've had problems with BC, it's all over the board as to which pill bothered which person. Doesn't it make sense that YAZ is the same? Is there any evidence that it's dangerous, or it is just the usual, "different meds affect people differently?"
Thanks for any thoughts. I need to make a decision in the next two days. I can handle mild side effects, but I have no room in my life (I work from home and have 3 little girls) for complete craziness or moodiness. I want to make my life better and healthier, not worse, kwim? |
